• When is my credit card charged for an order?  Customer credit cards are never charged for a product until the product leaves the CMDB distribution center or is shipped from an affiliated distributor. In most cases, customers will receive an automatically generated e-mail on that day the order has been shipped.



• How do you decide what products to display?  CMDB Network sites display only products for sale that are currently reported as available for immediate shipment through the CMDB Network. If a product becomes unavailable, it will automatically be removed from the site. The only criteria used to select products is whether we believe selling the product would be glorifying to God. If you disagree with our product selection, please do not hesitate to express your opinion to us by completing our online feedback page.



• Why do some products take so long to ship?  Because products are shipped from a number of different distributors, and many rare or out of print products are available from only one distribution source, the time it takes to ship product is often outside our control. We are committed to same day shipment on everything in stock and same day turnaround of everything arriving from a third party distributor, whenever possible.



• What does "limited inventory" mean?  Limited Inventory, and all of the other inventory status descriptions are explained in detail on our Shipping and Inventory page.



• What are "indie" products and why do you list them?  Indie products are products from artists who have not signed recording contracts with a record company and who are therefore "independent". We believe there is a vast reserve of this type of high quality Christian music that has not yet been discovered, and are committed to bringing this music to the public in a convenient and secure way. Because most people who visit the site will be unfamiliar with many of the indie selections available, we provide sound clips for as many projects as possible to aid consumers in deciding what to buy.



• Do you accept returns?  Yes. Prompt refunds will be provided for any damaged or defective item, and CMDB will assume the risk of loss for items shipped until they arrive at the customer's address. Unfortunately, returns for opened mainstream product are generally not accepted. Returns for opened indie products will be accepted as long as the product is in brand new condition, and will be assessed a 15% restocking fee. There is no restocking fee for damaged or defective items, unopened product, or mistakenly ordered product.



• How do you assess shipping charges?  The base cost for shipping an order is $4.25, for up to five items. Each additional item will incur an additional incremental portion of a second $4.25 shipping charge. Shipping charges are always charged with the first shipment in the case of orders shipping from multiple distributors.



• When are checks cashed?  Orders that are paid for by check are not routed to distributors until the check has cleared. We apologize for the additional delay, but it is unfortunately a necessary precaution. Items paid for by check that become unavailable will be refunded in full by check.



• What is your privacy policy?  In the course of providing products and services to you, we may collect your personal information such as your name, address, email address, credit card or check information, and information about your music preferences, especially if you complete artist reviews or vote for your favorite artists. We do not use your personal information, order information, music preferences, financial or other information in any way except to process your orders or provide you with other services you request, and to occasionally inform you about special offers we think you might be interested in. We may report aggregate sales and traffic information to various organizations who compile statistics on industry sales on a summary basis, but we will never identify you individually in any of that information. We have not ever, and will not ever sell our customer list to any third party marketing firm or other party that might intend to send you spam.
